The Special Bones Foundation
, in an effort to reach out to more people, are looking
for a few good SATELLITE SITES to help raise money for
our cause in other cities throughout the United State.
We are looking for individuals who believe in what we
are attempting to do and would be interested in hosting
a fund raising event, or raffle in the name of Special Bones. All
proceeds would go to the researchers chosen by the
Special Bones Foundation.
We will come out to your city to meet with you and
share our thoughts and ideas and procedures necessary to
start a SATELLITE SITE. We will then pass on our
findings to our committee for selection approval to
determine if you are a candidate to be SATELLITE SITE.
Once selected, Special Bones will fund all
expenses to kick start your fund raiser so no money comes out of your pocket.
If you wish, we can help set up speakers for you and
we can visit your site to help support you and your
committee.
After
any event, a certain percentage will remain in your account for expenses
and planning of future events or raffles to keep your site up and running.

Remember, the National Institute of Health (NIH) will
only provide minimal funding to Osteogenesis Imperfecta
(OI) Research due to it's classification of being an
Orphan Disease. If we can get a more accurate count of
how many people in the USA actually have this disease,
and prove to the NIH that the current number of 20,000
to 50,000 is inaccurate, then we will have a better
chance of convincing the NIH to provide more funding for
OI Research.
Thank you,
Mark Wagner - Founder of
